What is a Long Distance Moving: According to the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services a long move is any move involving a distance beyond 100 miles One-Way. It might be across the country or interstate move. **We will provide you with an accurate estimate with a price that will not change.
SHORT DISTANCE MOVING:
MR EXPRESS MOVING™ Provides Local moves of size of your moves. Local moves are considered jobs that a short distance within the same state. It typically is within the 100 miles without crossing state boarders.
CLARIFICATION:
Intrastate moves might be considered long distance as soon as the 100 miles one way distance is met. Example. A move from San Jose to San Diego would be considered long distance even if it is with in California.
Interstate moves are automatically considered long distance regardless of miles distance traveled because they involve moving goods across state lines. Interstate moves require special authority from Federal Regulators. For more clarification, please contact us.
